The Reef Octopus Classic 200 internal protein skimmer is a great skimmer for tanks under the 200 gallon size. The Classic 200 used to be called the NWB-200 model and now has an improved, better performance, and more effective Aquatrance pump. Having the right size of protein skimmer for your tank is very important, and the advantage of the Classic 200 Octopus skimmer is its price and gallon rating.
As one of the Reef Octopus Classic Series skimmers, the in-sump styleClassic 200int will provide great performance for well stocked aquariums up to 250 gallons.
This Classic Skimmer is constructed of high quality cast acrylic and features an easy to adjust gate valve, a quick release neck for easy cup removal, cup drain, bubble diffuser, o-ring sealed union pump mount, air shredding Aquatrance 3000s pinwheel pump and air silencer.
