SeaSide Aquatics Frag Rack - Large
The SSA small frag rack is a perfect place to hold some coral frags to grow out in your aquarium. It is a very clean looking frag rack made of cell cast acrylic, and capable of holding up to 25 small frag disks or plugs.

bought this based on the quality of a past seaside aquatics rack

I like that it is clear acrylic, and of course with lots of holes. The magnets are plastic covered. Magnets seem weaker than my other rack, but are probably strong enough to not fall, I wouldn't want to use on the thickest aquarium I guess. The older round magnets are better.

Ok Frag Rack but not as pictured

I have other Seaside Aquatics frag racks that I have bought from other companies and they have always had the round magnets like pictured for this item. The ones I have previously gotten also have the Seaside logo stamped on the magnet so I do not know if that is even what brand these really are. The item I received from Fragtastic had rectangular magnets and no visible Seaside markings on it. The magnets seem much weaker then the other ones I have gotten from the manufacturer. In fact this rack barely supports the weight of 10 average sized frags. The construction of the actual rack was as to be expected and no issues with hole size or placement.
As I had an order of coral coming in I could not return it. It served its purpose but I will be looking for one with a stronger magnet and I would not recommend this for purchase for anything more than a couple very small frags such. -
The rack did not hold on 1/2” glass.

The description says up to 3/4” glass but it won’t even work on 1/2” glass. I even asked customer service to see if it would work on 1/2” glass before I made the purchase. They do not factor in a full load of plugs. Magnets are too weak. I had to contact Seaside Aquatics for an extra magnet to place in between the other two. I don’t even know if this will work. I had to pay $12 plus shipping for each set.
