Cost effective Octopus Protein Skimmer Pumps provide exceptional performance at an economical price. Direct replacement pumps for newer Reef Octopus Classic protein skimmers modified with large grey threaded outputs.

So far, a terrific replacement for the original OTP-2000S

The OTP-2000S that originally came with my Reef Octopus NWB-150 (2009+ model bought in 2012) internal skimmer started to become loud after 3 years, despite being incredibly clean. Jeremy at CoralVue pointed me to this pump as a direct replacement, and so far it has worked out quite well. The pump isn't even broken in yet, and it's already considerably quieter than the old pump, which is a major concern given that my tank is in the living room. I'm still breaking it in, but this pump appears to do a better job at generating bubbles, as well. It also has a smaller footprint than the OTP pump. I'd certainly recommend this to anyone who doesn't want to spend the big bucks on the Bubble Blaster 2000.
